  [Merina, Sakalava] (de angongo : amas, monceau). Sens général : amas, réunion d'objets en grand nombre. Nom donné aux fruits adhésifs, s'accrochant en masse aux vêtements. Surtout Cyathula uncinulata (Schrad.) Schinz (Amaranthaceae). Herbe rudérale commune dont les fruits groupés en glomérules et pourvus de crochets adhésifs s'accrochent facilement aux vêtements, à la toison des animaux. Les enfants en font un jeu. D'après Razafindrambao, la plante entre dans une préparation réputée abortive, ocytocique.
