Nom donné à diverses plantes, agissant comme éblouissants du goût. Ce sont surtout : Desmodium cajanifolium (Kunth) DC. (Fabaceae). Nom relevé par Razafindrambao près d'Andramasina et Ambohibemasoandro, canton de Manjakandriana. Le même nom serait donné, d'après ce même auteur à un Cissus sp. (Vitaceae) «liane à tige grêle et à latex » ( ?) réf. Razafindrambao 34. Les cendres seraient utilisées pour conjurer les maléfices. [Merina] Pothos scandens L. (Araceae). C'est l'espèce qui a les propriétés les plus actives. Les fumeurs invétérés mâchonnent cette plante pour perdre l'habitude de fumer.
