5 (de resy : vaincu, abattu). Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers. (Poaceae). Bonne graminée fourragère. Elle forme des pelouses très rases qu'on appréciait pour y organiser les jeux comme la lutte malgache ou les combats de taureaux. Le vaincu était immobilisé sur ce tapis d'herbe, d'où le nom. Les Betsileo disent kindresy.
