Identifiée à Desmodium trifolium par Descheemaeker, Ravi-maitso 1975, p. 37. Probablement une erreur pour Desmodium triflorum DC. (Fabaceae) Usages médicinaux. Voir aussi masotantely, tranontantely. D'après les photos apportées par Descheemaeker, cette plante a été identifiée à : Alysicarpus nummularifolius DC. (Fabaceae). Sa décoction est administrée en cas de diarrhée douloureuse (kibo manenitra), employée aussi en lotions contre l'inflammation des yeux. [1.196]
