Entry ambiaty
Elementary words amby ; aty
Part of speech noun
Explanations in Malagasy Karazan-kazo tsy dia lehibe loatra, izay nataon' ny Ntaolo famantaran-taona. [1.1]
Explanations in English A shrub, the leaves of which are pounded and applied to sores. A bundle of the leaves tied together and put in ponds or marshes is used for catching sifotra (a kind of snail), the sifotra clinging in numbers to the bundle. The flowering of the plant is a sign to the people that the season for sowing the rice has come. Vernonia appendiculata, Less. See vaky ambiaty [1.2]
