It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father' s wife.

On n' entend parler que d' inconduite parmi vous, et d' une inconduite telle qu' il n' en existe pas même chez les païens ; c' est à ce point que l' un de vous vit avec la femme de son père !

1Kr / 1Kor 5:2

And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

Ary ianareo indray va no mirehareha, ka tsy nampalahelo anareo akory izany, mba hesorina tsy ho ao aminareo ilay nanao izany zavatra izany?

Izany ve ka hianareo indray no miavonavona e! ny tenanareo tsy malahelo amin' izany akory; ilay nanao izany tsy nesorinareo tsy ho eo aminareo koa.

Et vous êtes gonflés d' orgueil ! Et vous n' avez pas plutôt pris le deuil, pour qu' on enlevât du milieu de vous celui qui a commis cet acte !

1Kr / 1Kor 5:3

For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

Fa izaho, na dia tsy teo aza ny tenako, nefa teo ihany ny fanahiko, dia efa nitsara sahady an' ilay nanao toy izany, tahaka ny teo ihany aho:

Izaho, na dia tsy teo aminareo amam-batana aza, dia teo am-panahy, sy efa nitsara sahady an' ilay nanao izany zavatra izany, toy ny teo aminareo ihany.

Eh bien ! moi, absent de corps, mais présent d' esprit, j' ai déjà jugé, comme si j'étais présent, celui qui a perpétré une telle action.

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

Tsy mety ny fireharehanareo. Tsy fantatrareo va fa ny masirasira kely dia mahazo ny vongana rehetra?

Tsy mety lahy ny nireharehanareo lozan-tany erý! Tsy fantatrareo angaha fa lalivay kely foana dia mampibonaka ny vongan-dafarina manontolo?

Il n' y a pas de quoi vous glorifier ! Ne savez-vous pas qu' un peu de levain fait lever toute la pâte ?

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Esory ny masirasira ela, mba ho vongana vaovao ianareo, araka izay tsy maha-misy masirasira anareo. Fa voavono Kristy, Paska ho antsika;

Purifiez-vous du vieux levain pour être une pâte nouvelle, puisque vous êtes des azymes. Car notre pâque, le Christ, a été immolée.

1Kr / 1Kor 5:8

Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Ainsi donc, célébrons la fête, non pas avec du vieux levain, ni un levain de malice et de méchanceté, mais avec des azymes de pureté et de vérité.

1Kr / 1Kor 5:9

I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

je n' entendais nullement les débauchés de ce monde, ou bien les cupides et les rapaces, ou les idolâtres ; car il vous faudrait alors sortir du monde.

1Kr / 1Kor 5:11

But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

Non, je vous ai écrit de n' avoir pas de rapport avec celui qui, tout en portant le nom de frère, serait débauché, cupide, idolâtre, insulteur, ivrogne ou rapace, et même, avec un tel homme, de ne point prendre de repas.

1Kr / 1Kor 5:12

For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

Fa ahoako ny hitsara ny any ivelany? Tsy ny ao anatiny va no tsarainareo?

Moa raharahako va ny mitsara izay any ivelany? Ary moa tsy izay ao anaty va no mety hotsarainareo?

Qu' ai-je à faire en effet de juger ceux du dehors ? N' est-ce pas ceux du dedans que vous jugez, vous ?

1Kr / 1Kor 5:13

But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
